The "open access charges" will be waived to all the authors who contribute to this issue.

“Archives of Medical and Biomedical Research” is the official journal of the International Association of Medical and Biomedical Researchers (IAMBR) and the Society for Free Radical Research Africa (SFRR-Africa). It is an internationally peer reviewed, open access and multidisciplinary journal aimed at publishing original research articles, reviews, case reports, research methods papers, short communications, along with invited editorials and commentaries related to all aspects of medical and biomedical sciences. The journal will be published online and in print.

Open Access

Archives of Medical and Biomedical Research is published online and in print. Being an open access journal, all the articles can be read free on the public Internet. The journal has ‘open access charges’ to cover the printing cost and the cost of services provided. We appreciate that some authors do not have access to funding to cover publication costs. A limited number of waivers for "open access charges" are also available, and authors wishing to apply for these waivers should contact the managing editor. AMBR offers a discount to corresponding authors from institutions based in low income countries (HINARI Group A) and middle income countries (HINARI Group B). Open access charges are: US$1000 (High income countries), US$500 (HINARI Group B) and US$300 (HINARI Group A). All authors are asked to pay an open access charge on acceptance of their paper.

Editorial Policy

The Editor receives manuscripts with the understanding that they have not been published previously and that they have not been submitted for publication elsewhere. The author should confirm this in writing in the cover letter when transmitting the manuscript for publication. Receipt of manuscripts will be acknowledged promptly, and authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection in a timely manner.

The submitted manuscript will be subjected to a ‘double-blind peer review’. An international committee of reviewers reviews the manuscripts with maintenance of full anonymity. The editors of the journal identify the reviewers based on the nature of article. A statement of copyright transfer to the publisher will be required for manuscripts, which are accepted for publication. The Editor will supply the necessary forms for this transfer.
